About

My fascination with technology and affinity for gadgets goes back as far as I can remember. When I was young, I taught myself how to program in Logo, Basic, and Machine code on a Commodore 64. After college, I began my career as an industrial designer at Avia Footwear but soon realized that I had a passion to work in digital spaces, so I found a job with a small software start-up in Seattle. Fast-forward to 20 years later where I now lead global UX teams responsible for customer service at AWS. Along the way, I have been lucky enough to build useful tools and pages that are part of millions of customers’ lives.

I believe that a designer’s job is to envision a better, more human-centric world and to help others understand that vision. My work and inventions have earned me several patents in the United States, and I have shipped a multitude of great products. However, this is still just the beginning and I look forward to envisioning new ideas, creating innovative products, and solving more hard problems.

Onto the future!
